What Do You Really Want?
Someone once said, "One of the chief disappointments in life is trading what we want for what we want right now." Think about that one for a minute.
Dr Stephen Covey, author of Best Seller The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, pointed out with the second habit that we should Begin With The End In Mind. Millions of sold copies later, I wonder how many people apply this concept to their lives? How many of us actually plan to become old and look back on our lives with regret?
And yet all of those "want right now things" impact the course of our days, weeks, months, years, and ultimately our life itself. Every transaction, decision, and activity.
Life goes by oh so quickly.

Great Post!! I LOVE the Covey series. I have the 7 habits on an 8 cassette tape set that I've listened through about 4 times from front to back.
You've reminded me that I really need to evaluate my goals and plans. It is WAY too easy for one to become complacent with where they are.
Thanks again for the reminder. You've motivated me to get my act together again.
