What Do You Really Want?

Someone once said, "One of the chief disappointments in life is trading what we want for what we want right now." Think about that one for a minute.

Dr Stephen Covey, author of Best Seller The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, pointed out with the second habit that we should Begin With The End In Mind. Millions of sold copies later, I wonder how many people apply this concept to their lives? How many of us actually plan to become old and look back on our lives with regret?

And yet all of those "want right now things" impact the course of our days, weeks, months, years, and ultimately our life itself. Every transaction, decision, and activity.

Life goes by oh so quickly.

Introduction

The Internet has changed everything. Having the world's knowledge at your fingertips is really an incredible thing.

But it is not without cost. Privacy has taken a hit. That ten year old court record that used be available only by subscription for lawyers, is now just one Google© away. I know this all too well. Grandma used to say, "bought experience is the best kind." If that is true, mine is gold-plated.

I've learned a few things in my life. And in spite of costly mistakes made decades ago, I've never had more to be thankful for in my life. My cup runneth over.

This blog is dedicated to helping you not make the same mistakes I made, and perhaps more importantly, help you become all that you really want to be.
